Setting Up Your Brand Profile

In this Brkaway Brkdown we’ll run over the three main components of your Brand’s Brkaway Profile, and how you can set everything up to get your profile in order!

Your Brkaway Brand Profile is often what a creator sees first on Brkaway, and you know what they say about first impressions! In this Brkaway Brkdown we’ll run over the three main components of your Brand’s Brkaway Profile, and how you can set everything up to get your profile in order!

Your Brand Profile consists of three main sections - About, Seats, and Brand Documents.

About Tab

The About tab is where general information about your brand is stored. Here you can tell creators a little bit more about your brand including:

  • Company Name
  • Company Website
  • Brand Bio
  • Industries

You’re also able to adjust your brand logo by clicking the circular image at the top of the page next to your brand name.

We always recommend being as descriptive as possible with both your brand bio and industries so creators get a good idea of what you’re all about.

Seats

In the seats tab, you can invite your colleagues to join you on Brkaway. Inviting a colleague is as simple as clicking the “+ Invite” button and entering your colleague's name and email address. You’ll also be prompted to select the Role you’d like to assign your colleague and you can leave them an optional custom message. Below we’ll outline the various roles available to seats.

Admins can do everything on the Brkaway platform. This includes leaving comments, approving content, creating Collabs, uploading brand materials, and controlling Brkaway Seats.

Managers can do everything Admins can except control Brkaway seats.

Commenters can view information on Brkaway and leave comments on content.

Once invited, your Colleague will appear in the Pending invitations section and they’ll receive an email with a link allowing them to sign up. If that link ever expires, or your colleague can’t find the email, you can always resend the invite by clicking the “resend invite” button which will appear next to your colleague's name on Brkaway.

Brand Documents

Brand Documents is where you’ll want to store files that your entire roster of creators will have access to. This is a great place to store brand guidelines and other generic brand/product information.

It’s important to note that any files that are stored within the Brand Documents can be seen by any of your current creators. If the document is sensitive or pertains to a specific deliverable we wouldn’t recommend storing it in Brand Documents.

Now that your brand Profile is all set up, it’s time to walk you through inviting creators to join you on Brkaway.
